Tebbutt Research supporting Solomon Islands national financial services survey

We are pleased to be working with the Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI), the Solomon Islands National Statistics Office (SINSO) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on an important national study of financial services in Solomon Islands.

CBSI has launched its second National Financial Services Demand Side Survey, which will assess how people across the country access, use and experience financial products and services. The role of Tebbutt Research is to provide technical support, conduct fieldwork, analyse the data and produce a final report.

The survey will reach a nationally representative sample of about 992 adults from urban, rural and maritime communities. It will look at access, usage, quality and satisfaction with financial services, as well as financial behaviours, consumer needs and readiness for climate-related financial products.

The findings will help CBSI assess progress under its current National Financial Inclusion Strategy and inform the next strategy, while also identifying gaps in financial services and emerging consumer needs. The survey is funded by ADB, with SINSO and Tebbutt Research providing technical support and research services to CBSI.
